2 missing Shelbyville girls found safe in Alabama after AMBER Alert issued on their behalf

SHELBYVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – Two missing Shelbyville girls believed to be with their non-custodial mother have been found safe.

The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation (TBI) said 2-year-old Journey Garrett and 9-month-old Daley Garrett were last seen in Shelbyville on Wednesday, March 13. They were believed to be with their non-custodial mother, Casey Campbell, in the area of Powell, Alabama.

Campbell was wanted by the Shelbyville Police Department for especially aggravated kidnapping.

Journey was last seen wearing a dress and leggings. She is 2 feet tall, weighs 30 pounds, and has brown hair and brown eyes, according to the TBI.

Authorities said Daley was last seen wearing a sleeper onesie. She weighs 20 pounds and has blonde hair and blue eyes.

Shortly after 8 p.m. Monday, March 18, the TBI said both Journey and Daley were found safe in Alabama. Campbell, meanwhile, is in custody.

The TBI also said the public may have noticed a phone alert associated with this AMBER Alert was not sent. That’s because the children and Campbell were believed to be in Alabama.
