Alameda sheriff investigation leads to massive gun bust

(KRON) — The Alameda County Narcotics Task Force seized nine firearms in connection to the illegal possession and sale of multiple assault rifles in Oakland, the Alameda County Sheriff’s Office said.

The seizure happened on Thursday on Crosby Avenue in Oakland, police said. Upon conducting a search warrant, police found nine firearms, including four illegal assault weapons. All the weapons were recovered.

A 34-year-old man was arrested and booked into the Santa Rita jails on charges related to the investigation, police said.
