Take action against human trafficking at ‘Shine A Light’ event

(COLORADO SPRINGS) — “Learn, discuss, and take action against human trafficking,” is the goal of an event taking place this weekend in Colorado Springs.

The ‘Shine A Light’ event is happening on Saturday, April 27 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Living Hope Covenant Church located at 1650 North Union Boulevard.

“Human trafficking is a grave injustice that affects millions worldwide, including members of our own communities,” according to the event page. “Together, we can shine a light of truth and love into the shadows.”

There will be several speakers at the event representing several organizations including; the Sex Trafficking Task Force, Exodus Road, and Reclaiming Hope. The event is free and open to the public and lunch will be served.
