Accidents - April 29, 2024
Apr. 29—Minor injuries were reported Saturday in a one-vehicle accident in Union County.
According to a Union County report, at approximately 7:54 a.m., a 2006 Infiniti G35, driven by Aiden J. Evans, 19, of Creston, was eastbound on REA Road near 12 Mile Lake Road, when it swerved to avoid a deer standing in the roadway. The Infiniti went into the south ditch and into a group of trees before coming to rest.
Evans complained of wrist pain but was not transported for medical care from the scene.
Damage to the Infiniti was estimated at $6,000.
