Some 50 protesters remain ensconced at Humboldt University even after officers cleared rooms occupied since Wednesday, the Berlin police said on Thursday evening.
The police have imposed around 130 short-term restrictions on movement in the course of the evacuation of Humboldt University, a police spokesman said.
The identity of the occupants had been established, he said.
While clearing the building, police had to make their way through barricaded corridors and doors, according to the spokesman.
There are currently no reports of injuries, neither among the police nor the occupiers.
