When life gives you a $275,750 911 specials but no money to actually buy them, you build imaginary ones using Porsche's online configurator.
Porsche's 911 Speedster is here, and like its humpbacked forebears, it's eye-catching. It also costs an eye-watering $275,750-far more than a base, $92,350 911 Carrera and more than every other 911 variant save for the 700-hp 911 GT2 RS. Naturally, few of us (okay, none of us, at least here) can afford such an extravagance, and that's assuming the 1948 lucky examples slated for production haven't been spoken for already. So, in a clearly unhealthy effort to satiate our Speedster fantasies, we took to Porsche's freshly minted online configurator to build a few unique versions of the specialest modern 911.
