(KRON) – The Concord Police Department announced three people were arrested at a DUI checkpoint on Friday.
According to police, 600 vehicles were contacted at the checkpoint.
The checkpoint was held at Willow Pass Road and Mount Diablo Street from 7 p.m. to 3 a.m.
Concord PD said the department implements checkpoints to promote public safety by deterring drivers from driving impaired.
