250 tons of tree debris collected Monday at Reno County Landfill

WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) – The Reno County Landfill reported that Monday, a day after the severe storm hit Reno County, they took in 728 loads or 250 tons of brush in one day.

The landfill is open 8 a.m.-5 p.m. through Saturday but will be closed on Monday, May 27, for Memorial Day.

The City of Hutchinson is accepting only tree limbs/brush from Hutchinson city residents at the Carey Park dump site, 8 a.m.-5 p.m. through Saturday. The site is closed on Sunday and Monday.

Starting on Thursday, May 23, Hutchinson residents can also take their brush to the southeast corner of the Sports Arena parking lot.
