2 drivers injured in West Circle Drive crash

Apr. 24—ROCHESTER — Emergency personnel responded to a two-vehicle crash on West Circle Drive in Rochester on Wednesday afternoon, April 24, 2024.

The Rochester Police Department and Rochester Fire Department responded to the crash near 41st Street Northwest and Badger Hills Drive Northwest around 12:50 p.m. Wednesday. The two vehicles collided when one vehicle was traveling north on West Circle Drive and attempted to make a left turn and another vehicle was traveling south on West Circle, according to a statement from RPD. The vehicle traveling south then struck a pole.

One driver had life-threatening injuries. The other driver had non-life threatening injuries, according to the statement. Both drivers were transported by Mayo Clinic Ambulance Service.

No other occupants were in the vehicles.
