15 inducted into ACTC Tri Alpha Honor Society

Apr. 29—ASHLAND — Advisors of the Alpha Alpha Alpha (Tri-Alpha) honor society at Ashland Community and Technical College hosted their spring induction ceremony on April 18, welcoming 15 new student members.

Initiated students received a certificate, a pin and a stole to wear during commencement ceremony.

Tri-Alpha is a national honor society dedicated to celebrating the academic accomplishments of first-generation college students. ACTC is proud to be the first college in the KCTCS system, the Tri-State, and the fourth in the state of Kentucky to host a chapter of Tri-Alpha.

ACTC's Tri-Alpha chapter has inducted more than 40 members after three semesters.

Students who were eligible for induction this spring are Erica Brooks, Ronald Conley, Whitney Dallaire, Belinda Dingess, Goldie Gehringer, Caitlin Graham, Misty Hutchinson, Kelsey King, Zoe Leunissen, Norma Lynch, Shaelyn Myers, Amber Sparks, Sheila Stewart, Tonya Redwine and Keyleigh Stanley.
