1 killed after train hits pedestrian: Denver police

DENVER (KDVR) — A pedestrian died after a crash involving a train late Friday night, according to the Denver Police Department.

The incident happened near Quebec Street and Smith Road around 11:44 p.m.

According to the preliminary investigation, the pedestrian was crossing the tracks against the crossing signal lights.

The investigation was ongoing.
