Bride Pranks Patriots-Loving Groom With Tom Brady in Heels #Deflategate Wedding Cake
Some spouses tread carefully around their partner’s loyalties to a sports team. But apparently Liz Gigliotti has a different approach.
Gigliotti pranked her groom, Dave, a die-hard New England Patriots fan, with a wedding cake featuring the team’s star quarterback, Tom Brady, in a fetching white dress and high heels.
Liz is a New York Giants fan, not coincidentally.
As captured by photographer Megan Dailor, you can see a decorative Tom Brady atop the football shaped cake, flashing a little leg while sporting a cocktail-length strapless dress. Observant eyes will notice the slightly deflated state of the football cake, referencing the recent #deflategate scandal that Tom Brady had been embroiled in over the past year.

The couple also had a traditional white, tiered cake in addition to their parody Patriots confection. We can only imagine the look on the groom’s face upon first seeing Tom Brady perched atop the football cake — in red heels, no less. Luckily, it seems that the groom has a good sense of humor. Wedding photographer Megan Dailor snapped a photo of him digging right into the cake, starting with a frosting taste test right off of the Tom Brady topper.
