I’ve followed Zendaya’s career since her 2011 single Swag It Out, where she wore knee-high socks and a pink letterman jacket covered in sparkles. Over a decade and robust career later, her style has come a long way.

Most recently, the Challengers star was spotted at the set of Jimmy Kimmel Live!, where she wore a sophisticated Ralph Lauren spring 1992 ensemble that was more blazer than dress. Underneath, she donned a white button-up shirt and tied the look together with a, well, tie. Though, I’d be doing you a disservice if I didn’t call out her crisp white shoes, which featured a pointed toe, red bottom, and pencil-thin heel.

I know what you’re thinking, “But, Ruby, those are just too tall!” While high pumps, like these Sam Edelman Hazel heels, certainly deliver additional length to the legs, shorter variations encapsulate the same look. The magic is in the clean hue that draws passerbys’ eyes.

The Calvin Klein Gabrianna Kitten Pump is a great option for something shorter, offering wearers a refined yet practical approach to Zendaya’s shoes. Including soft leather, a grippy sole, and logo embossed hardware, shoppers call it “the most comfortable small heel [they’ve] ever worn.” The Franco Sarto Darcy heel is another great pick, delivering the same modest height, a flared heel, and mixed textiles for a truly show-stopping moment.

No matter which footwear option you choose, it’s guaranteed to integrate into your wardrobe with ease. The color — or, rather lack of — makes the style simple to pair with nearly everything, including bold dresses, yellow tops, and classic blue jeans. I’d even go as far to say that the versatile staple transcends occasions, allowing you to don the style to brunch, dinners, work, girls’ nights, and beyond.

While there are a lot of trends out there, Zendaya-inspired white pumps are surely spring 2024’s biggest shoe trend. We see the light-reflecting style return again and again, proving its timeless appeal. Afterall, how can you not fall in love with the shoes when they create a dazzling effect with each step? Better yet, you can wear them well into summer with shorts and coquette dresses.

If you’re ready to try your hand (or, foot?) at the white heel trend, then shop high and low lookalike options below, starting at $31. You’re sure to be the talk of every spring and summer gathering from here on out.
