YouTuber Creates Full Suspension Plywood Mountain Bike

It is a common complaint in mountain biking that bikes have gotten too expensive and too technologically advanced.

To combat this, one YouTuber decided to take matters into his own hands. Watch Reuben build a plywood bike himself.

In this video, Reuben satirically built up a plywood full-suspension bike. Though the concept is a joke, he was able to ride it for longer than most viewers likely expected.

Reuben certainly got some good reactions to his creation. To cap it off, he brought the bike to a bike shop to ask them what was wrong with it and provided them some comic relief. The absurd tones of the video capped off at the end when he cooked an egg on the burning wreckage of the frame.

As it turns out, wooden bikes are actually a thing. Many people have made bikes featuring bamboo that work well. Perhaps the V2 will feature Bamboo.

Though the Plywood bike snapped like it was doomed to, Reuben captured the essence of creative mountain bikers who want to build their own frames. Watch the story of another handmade frame below.
