In the early 2000s, a new discipline of mountain biking called freeride was all the rage. Riders were ditching their lycra to go into the woods to build and ride the craziest features they could. A big part of the movement was the popularity of riding in street clothes.

In this video, Ashton teed up an enormous drop. As it turns out, the drop was a relic from the freeride movie Kranked 7 that had fallen into disrepair. Ashton and his buddies revamped it and got it going. They even donned the retro gear to film it.
