WTC Adds New Single Speed Parts Incl. Steel Lockring, Colorful Cogs + Bosch eBike Rings!
Single-speeders rejoice. Wolf Tooth Components is adding to their collection of 1×1 specific parts including a new lockring, spacer kit, and new colors of SS cogs.
When you need to adapt those multi-speed HG freehubs to single-speed, you’ll need a Single Speed Spacer Kit. WTC now offers a kit that is compatible with any 10 or 11-speed HG freehub body, which includes two 1.5mm, three 5mm, and one 15mm aluminum spacers. With this combination, you can achieve a 45, 47.5, 49, 52, or 55mm chainline.
The kit will be sold as spacers only for $29.99 or with their new stainless steel lockring for $44.95. Currently, you can’t buy the lockring separately.
On the cog side, WTC is adding orange and gold to their current line up of aluminum cogs which includes black, blue, green, and purple. They also offer a silver stainless steel cog for added durability. Aluminum cogs sell for $54.95 while the SS version is $79.95.
Bosch eBike Chainrings
Finally, WTC is expanding their chainring selection with a direct mount version for Bosch eBikes. Available in 32 or 34t and in Drop-Stop B or Strop-Stop ST tooth profiles, the chainrings will cover most 9, 10, 11, and 12 speed chains. Compatible with Boost and Super Boost bikes running the Bosch Gen 4 ebike motor, the rings have a 55mm chainline, and a claimed weight of 98-105g. Any style sells for $89.95.
