Wrangler's jeans are synonymous with cowboys, but you don't have to be a rancher to pull them off. Even one of the brand's most popular styles, Wrangler's Cowboy Cut Slim Fit Jean, fits just as well in the outdoors as it does in the city. During Amazon’s Big Spring Sale, you can lasso these jeans for as little as $22.

Prices vary considerably by size and color, but colorways including Gold Buckle Bleach, Shadow Black, and Rigid Indigo are available in popular sizes for roughly $22 to $35. These jeans retail for $55 on Wrangler’s site, so you can save up to $25 on the full price. Some sizes and colors are on a limited-time offer, so you’ll want to act fast.

Wrangler Men's Cowboy Cut Slim Fit Jean, From $22 (was $55) on Amazon

The jeans have a high-waisted fit with a slim thigh and a slightly flared hem to fit comfortably over boots. The jeans are made from 100% cotton, meaning they’ll be stiffer at first, but will break in better and last longer than jeans made with stretch. The front pockets have a scoop design, rather than the flatter pockets typical on most jeans, making them easier to access, and the rear pockets feature Wrangler’s W-stitching.

These jeans are not vanity-sized, and since they don’t have stretch, they may be tighter fitting than the denim you’re used to; you’ll want to consult the sizing chart to make sure you get the right pair. The flared design stacks over cowboy boots, but the jeans can also look great with work boots or even the right pair of sneakers.

Shoppers were impressed with these jeans when compared to other major denim brands. One shopper had "about a dozen pairs of Levis" and largely replaced them with Wranglers. Another found that Wranglers were made from "much thicker, sturdier denim" compared to Levi’s 517 jeans.

Shoppers were also impressed with the quality of the fabric, with one calling the jeans "super durable and comfortable," and another calling them "rugged and durable." Shoppers also appreciated the fit, especially as an alternative to the regular Wrangler Cowboy Cut jeans. One shopper raved that the jeans fit "like a glove," adding that they had a "hard time finding a pair of pants that fit my long, slim build" and concluding that "these are perfect."

You don’t have to be a modern-day cowboy to pull off Wrangler's Cowboy Cut jeans, but don’t be surprised if you have a newfound swagger when you first pull them on. Plus, with a deal this good, you’ll be walking around with a little extra cash in your back pocket.
