Women’s Empowerment Summit in Baton Rouge: When, where, tickets

BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) — Women in Baton Rouge are invited to attend a Women’s Empowerment Summit this Saturday, April 27.

The Baton Rouge Sigma Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. and the Life Development Foundation are hosting the event at the Baton Rouge Mariott, 5500 Hilton Avenue, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.

According to event organizers, the summit will have informative breakout sessions, networking and engaging fellowship to gain strategies that impact and improve self-wellness, financial fortitude and political advocacy.

“We will have a host of dynamic women sharing their stories to help others improve their lives in all aspects – spiritually, mentally, and physically,” said Ernise Singleton, president of BR Sigma. “The goal is to empower the attendees so they can help make their families and their communities better.”

Speakers include:

  • Rose Hudson, CEO of Louisiana Lottery.

  • Regina Davis, Refinery Manager at ExxonMobil.

  • Louisiana Supreme Court Associate Justice Piper Griffin.

  • Baton Rouge City Court Judge Division D. Yvette M.  Alexander.

The cost is $100 for ages 26 – 61, $50 for ages 18 to 25 and $75 for ages 62 and older. Click here to register.
