Most dogs who become stray dogs due to abandonment by their owners are bully breeds, such as American bullies or Staffordshire bull terriers, as these breeds are often considered controversial, although this couldn't be farther from the truth.

In a video posted on September 23, the owner of Jellyroll and Theo shared their newest addition to their family, an American bully stray named Margie, who is currently being fostered, and she's a keeper.

Aw, who would abandon such a cute dog like Margie?

Margie's story is a poignant example of the challenges that many stray dogs, especially bully breeds, face and the importance of compassionate individuals who step in to help.

When Margie was found in an alley with no microchip and irritated skin, it was likely a very distressing and uncertain time for her. Stray dogs often endure harsh conditions and health issues while struggling to survive on their own.

Look at how sad she looked until she was taken home by this woman and got a warm medicated bath to help with her skin issues, which might have been a result of various factors, including allergies or exposure to harsh environmental conditions.

Foster caregivers like this woman who took in Margie play a vital role in helping these dogs regain their trust in humans and providing them with the care and attention they need.

Margie is now in the care of the Philly Bully Team while still being fostered until she receives treatment for skin issues and vaccines, as well as getting spayed and microchipped.

In the meantime, Margie will receive plenty of love and socialization to help her recover and become a happier, healthier dog.

The journey from a lonely and distressed stray dog to a beloved and cherished pet is a heartwarming transformation that highlights the resilience of animals and the kindness of people who open their hearts to them.

Margie's story serves as an inspiration for others to consider fostering or adopting stray animals in need and reminds us of the incredible difference that one person's compassion can make in the life of a vulnerable animal.
