Why Travis Kelce May Miss Girlfriend Taylor Swift's Birthday Party

Taylor Swift, her friends and her fans are all celebrating on Wednesday, Dec. 13, as the singer is turning 34 years old. Swift already got together with friends like Selena Gomez and Miles Teller in New York City, but the question many Swifties have is whether or not her boyfriend Travis Kelce will be with her on her birthday.

Unfortunately, it seems like he won't be able to join Swift, as Kelce is unable to travel to NYC on Dec. 13, instead staying in Kansas City, Missouri, for mandatory practice for his football team, the Kansas City Chiefs, as reported by People.

The team lost their game against the Buffalo Bills on Sunday, Dec. 10, which Swift attended in support of her beau, and they likely want to focus and prepare before next Sunday's game against the New England Patriots.

Even if they can't be together on Swift's birthday, the two allegedly celebrated while attending a holiday party earlier with Patrick Mahomes, his wife Brittany, and other Chiefs players, while Swift even received a birthday gift at the last Chiefs game.

While there is likely to be even more celebration for Swift in honor of her 34th birthday, she also had a special gift for Swifties this year. The singer posted a video to Instagram revealing that her Eras Tour concert film is now available to watch at home.

She wrote, "Celebrate 34 with me by watching The Eras Tour (Extended Version) including 'Long Live' 🐉 'The Archer' 🏹 and 'Wildest Dreams' 🩵 at home!

Swift also joked around with the fans in her message, adding, "PS troll me all you want about my excessive and literal millennial emoji use but A) no one’s prouder to be a millennial and B) it’s my bday and today I am exempt! 🎂."

While Swift and Kelce's relationship is relatively new, the couple also got to celebrate the tight end's birthday together this past October as he also turned 34.
