Why Sharon Osbourne Doesn't 'Regret' Ozempic Usage Despite Major Weight Loss

Sharon Osbourne has previously spoken out about her experience using Ozempic, but now she's admitting that despite dropping major weight, she doesn't regret taking the drug.
Ozempic is a prescription medication that was initially introduced to the market to help people with Type-2 Diabetes manage their blood sugar levels. It works to mimic a hormone called glucagon-like peptide-1, which targets areas of the brain that regulate appetite, according to the FDA.
As of late, it has gained popularity for being used as a weight loss drug, with celebrities and influencers recounting their experiences using it to achieve physical appearance goals, among other medications such as Wegovy and Mounjaro.
The Osbournes alum dropped 40 pounds using the injections, and she's content with her results, while admitting that they "worked" for her specific intention.
“I don’t regret it. Everything with weight with me was, ‘I want it now,’” she explained of her attitude regarding Ozempic while visiting UK talk show Loose Women during an appearance on Monday, Jan. 15.

“The injections that I was on worked, but it just seems that now I can’t put anything on really,” she added of the hard time she now has gaining any weight back. The 71-year-old opened up about wanting to gain 10 pounds, but hasn't seen any success with doing so.
Previously, the TV personality detailed all of the brutal side effects she had dealt with while on the controversial drug, and even suggested she was unhappy with how "thin" she'd gotten at one point, admitting she looked "gaunt."
"I know I look gaunt and I know everything that goes along with it. And I did it," she said in an interview with Daily Mail in November.
She continued at the time, "I’m too gaunt and I can’t put any weight on. I want to, because I feel I’m too skinny. I’m under 100 lb and I don’t want to be. Be careful what you wish for."
Now, though, it seems she has settled in a bit more with how she looks post-Ozempic, as her opinion on it has obviously changed from a few months ago.
