Sharon Osbourne Reflects on Her 'Too Gaunt' Appearance After Ozempic Weight Loss

Sharon Osbourne has issued another warning about using Ozempic–a drug initially introduced to the market to help people with Type-2 Diabetes manage their blood sugar levels–for weight loss.
The 71-year-old media personality has been open about her experience with the controversial weight loss drug, previously detailing all of the brutal side effects she had and even suggesting she was unhappy with how "thin" she'd gotten. Now, she's doubling down on her remarks, opening up about her whirlwind journey and the struggles she's claimed to have faced since she stopped using Ozempic.
"I know I look gaunt and I know everything that goes along with it. And I did it," she said in a new interview with The Daily Mail published on Friday, Nov. 17.
"I’m too gaunt and I can’t put any weight on. I want to, because I feel I’m too skinny. I’m under 100lb and I don’t want to be," she shared. "Be careful what you wish for."
Osbourne went on, explaining that she was on the injectable medication for less than a year but that it didn't take much for the weight to come off, even calling it "too easy."
"I started on Ozempic last December and I’ve been off it for a while now, but my warning is don’t give it to teenagers, it’s just too easy."
"You can lose so much weight and it’s easy to become addicted to that, which is very dangerous," she added. "I couldn’t stop losing weight and now I’ve lost 42lb and I can’t afford to lose any more."
Despite seeming somewhat apprehensive about her weight, her concern is strictly about her health, not her aesthetic.
"I don’t care what people say about the way I look," Osbourne admitted. "I’ve never really cared what people say about the way I look because I know I’ve paid a fortune to try and look attractive."
She concluded, joking, "I was never a beauty. I was never blessed that way. I was blessed with a pair of balls instead of great t--s!"
