One key member of the Succession cast was missing from the 75th Emmy Awards.

On Monday, Jan. 15, the cast of Succession took to the stage at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles, Calif., as the HBO drama was named the winner of the Outstanding Drama Series category. However, Jeremy Strong, who played Kendall Roy on all four seasons of Succession, was noticeably absent.

In fact, he was MIA earlier in the evening when the category he was personally nominated in—Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series—was read aloud. While Strong, 45, wasn't named the winner, it didn't stop fans from speculating where he was.

One fan pondered on X (formerly Twitter), "Ok but WHERE IS JEREMY STRONG? #Emmys2024 #Succession."

Another asked, "no like where is jeremy strong let's talk about it... he couldn't have shown up for ONE night ?"

A third noted, "has anyone seen Jeremy Strong lately? where is our number one boy?? do we need to drag the Hudson???? #Emmys"

Thankfully, during the aforementioned Outstanding Drama Series category, it was confirmed that Strong's absence was not for personal reasons. Specifically, he's working right now.

During the acceptance speech, creator Jesse Armstrong told the crowd, "Hello to Jeremy Strong, who is making a movie. And hello to [executive producer] Lucy Prebble, who has made a baby. We send our love to both of them."

It was certainly a big night for Succession, who took home several top prizes during the awards ceremony. For instance, Kieran Culkin, who played Roman Roy on all four seasons of Succession, beat out Strong in the Lead actor category. Sarah Snook, who played Shiv Roy on all four seasons of the HBO hit, was named the victor for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series. Even Matthew Macfadyen, who played social-climbing Tom Wambsgans, won the Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series trophy.

Like we said, it was a major night for Succession.
