This Is Why It Isn't The Best Idea To Try And Emulate World Cup Racers

We all want to corner like Sam Hill or rally like Aaron Gwin but the reality of it is that pro downhillers are so astronomically better than us common laymen that to try and emulate them is almost always an insurmountable task.

Ruben Monzo found that it's a little more intricate than it looks to try and rail a corner in the style of a World Cupper and that there are some consequences associated with carrying that kind of speed.

Now, we do have to give Ruben props here for effort because he did nearly pull that around all things considered. If it weren't for that dang tree right in his face as soon as he came rocketing out of the corner he would have been on track to replicate Jackson Goldstone's iconic nearly upside down style of hitting berms.

Also, Ruben is still young and the fact that he's rallying this hard already is a great sign for his longevity in the sport. Hopefully we see more out of him in time.
