Whoopi Goldberg attends the 2023 Bring Change To Mind Gala at City Winery on Oct. 9, 2023, in New York City.

As moderator of The View, Whoopi Goldberg is usually calm and collected as she guides the conversation and sometimes breaks up squabbles between panelists. But recently, she walked off the set during a foot fetish discussion—and the clip is a must-see.

Goldberg animatedly segued into the topic during the Tuesday, Jan. 9 episode of the talk show.

"So here's some news I know you really want to hear," she said cheekily. "A guy wrote into The Guardian's advice column because she always enjoyed when he gave her a foot massage—until he admitted he had a foot fetish. Now, foot massages are off the table."

The moderator explained the man thought it was weird that his wife stopped wanting foot massages after his confession, asking the panelists, "Is the idea of a fetish a turn-off for you?"

"I wish my husband had a foot fetish and wanted to give me foot rubs," Alyssa Farah Griffin responded. "That seems like a great problem to have."

"But isn't it great that he has a fetish?" Sunny Hostin wondered. "Like, if you love foot massages and you happen to be married to a guy with a foot fetish that wants to give massages, it's like the perfect marriage."

Sara Haines chimed in: "If Max finished any sentence with, 'And by the way I have a fetish.'...Do not call it a fetish, or I might change my mind a little."

Griffin insisted, "I think in general, you have to entertain your partner's kink, within reason."

That's when Goldberg had enough. "Excuse me for a second...Keep talking," the moderator suddenly announced, clearly triggered by the word "kink."

"Whoopi has left the building!" Haines announced, laughing, as Goldberg made her way behind the panelist table to the far right side of the stage.

For her part, Joy Behar joked that her feet "have created foot fetishes out there." This resulted in the women talking about how long their second toes are compared to their other toes.

After a minute, Goldberg returned to her seat at the head of the table and made a face straight into the camera. Behar asked, "What did you just get off the table for?"

"Because I was so enamored by what you were saying," Goldberg sarcastically replied, "that I felt that I needed to take a breath so I could just get myself together, so I could come back to the table."

She added: "This is what this conversation does to people. It makes them get up and move. I don't care. Because my feet are huge, and no one wants to touch them."
