Pat Sajak's daughter Maggie Sajak has become a fixture on Wheel of Fortune in recent years.
Maggie began on the show filling in turning letters for Vanna White while White took on Pat's hosting duties while he underwent emergency surgery in early 2020. From there, she became a social correspondent, giving behind-the-scenes looks at the workings of the iconic game show.
But the 28-year-old's connections go much further back. In honor of her Pat Sajak's birthday in October 2023, Maggie shared a sweet late '90s throwback photo of herself as a toddler holding her dad's hand while walking across the Wheel of Fortune set.
"Happy birthday to my dad! Thanks for leading me through life," she captioned the pic.

Why is Pat Sajak's daughter on the show?
Pat Sajak's daughter Maggie was on Wheel of Fortune when Pat was hospitalized in 2020. Maggie served as a guest letter-turner while Vanna White took on hosting duties in Pat's stead.
Maggie recalled White coming to the Sajak family home to help Maggie prepare to fill in her high-heeled shoes.
"She gave me a little tutorial, like on our refrigerator, of how to press the letters and how hard to press them and all of that," Maggie told Yahoo! Entertainment. "She was so gracious in teaching me, and you know, she had a big job to do that week too, filling in for my dad. So it was a new experience for both of us, and I’m really glad we were able to do that together."

When she filled in for Vanna White while Pat had a medical emergency, she said of her dad, “He was really glad that it was something that we could kind of keep it in the family because it was a crazy time. I mean, you know, he had this emergency that happened and so there was a lot going on, so to kind of be able to simplify it and keep it all rolling. I think he was really thankful for that.”
