Olde World Bistro & Bakery is more than just another restaurant in Holmes County. It was born in the spirit of healthy hospitality.

Mandy Beachy and her husband, Keith, have been building the business at 4363 State Route 39 (across from Hiland High School) near Berlin since 2008.

"Our goal was to provide real, pure, wholesome, heirloom food," Beachy said. "We make everything from scratch so that we have control over every single ingredient in this house. We make all of our own breads, using all-natural flour. We do not use hydrogenated oils. We make all of our own desserts. Our fat choice is butter. And in our sauces, we use olive oil."

'I welcome you to my table'

Artisan cooking and baking became not only became a habit, but a way of living for the Beachy family.

"My passion for this lifestyle grew beyond just our little table," she said. "It grew into a business where the mission is to feed everyone who comes to my table with the same standard. I welcome you to my table, and thank you for allowing me and my team the opportunity to place a handcrafted meal before you."
