Watch: Matthew and Levi McConaughey Want Us All to Join Them in Supporting Maui Wildfire Survivors

Matthew and Levi McConaughey have been outspoken about their love for surfing and Hawaii.

So it's not a big surprise that the McConaughey family is speaking out in support of helping Maui wildfire survivors.

The famous family is joining other celebrities who are supporting islanders and hoping to inspire others to help too.

The post above is captioned:

"McConaughey’s are funding an emergency aid plane with @Baby2Baby that is filled with hundreds of thousands more emergency supplies that will have an immediate impact on children and families on Maui."

In the video, the elder McConaughey says, "Hey everybody, Matthew and Levi McConaughey. We know that you probably already know about all the devastation on the island of Maui. The fires over there have put so many people out of homes and taken so many lives, these people need to stabilize to survive.

He adds that the family is working with an organization called Baby2Baby, that provides children with basic necessities.

"They are working with partners that are on the ground in Maui saying this is what people need right now, this what the most needy people need," Matthew said.

He listed Aloha Diaper Bank, Hawaii Diaper Bank, Maui Food Bank, Pacific Birth Collective, and Maui Rapid Response as legit organizations to help.

"These are people from organizations on the ground in Maui, saying this is needed right now," he said. "There's a lot of help that's needed."

Levi chimed in, "Yeah they're going to need it for the long term. So any way you guys can help. It's appreciated, yeah."

"Just keep livin.'"
