Most surfers have a go-to surf buddy. For Mason Ho, that surf buddy appears to be Clay Marzo.

Last summer, they had an epic time ripping perfect waves all over Indonesia. From Lombok's Desert Point (where Ho got behind the camera) to Padang Padang in Bali, the boys scored fun surf all over the place.

Marzo is known as one of the best barrel riders around and as the first to master the frontside layback in the tube. Meanwhile, Ho is, well, a Ho who rips hard enough to pay respect to the Hos that came before him.

Ho & Pringle Productions captioned its latest edit above that dropped today:

"Mason Ho and Clay Marzo go looking for a wave to surf in France. They find this cool little right-hander with a few people out. Perfect for after the grocery store!"

This French surf session must have followed on the heels of the Quiksilver Surf Festival which our own Zander Morton called, "by all accounts, the best surf contest of the year."

But instead of the big barrels the competitors got in the contest, the dynamic duo that is Ho and Marzo scored a bunch of fun little righthand nuggets and had one of those sessions where it's just pure, lighthearted fun.

Combine that with the French supermarket shopping spree where they stocked up on baked goods and sausage, and it's a surf trip dream come true.

Press play above to surf and travel vicariously through them for under 10 minutes.
