"This is surfing right here, this is what we live for," says Jeremy Flores with a laugh, watching Marc Lacamore streak through a 6-foot pit in absolutely pumping surf in Hossegor. "F-k the points and all of that shit."

Over the weekend, Quiksilver put on the Quik Festival France, an invite-only, team centric comp that went on all day and night, literally. Teams included father/daughter and father/son duos Josh and Sierra Kerr and Shane and Jackson Dorian, as well as brother/sister combo Mason and Coco Ho, alongside 10 other unique pairings.

After 3 days of firing France and multiple challenges in the water (Think: best combo, best turn, best tube, best air, etc) the Quik Fest was ultimately won by comp-creator Jeremy Flores and his teammate Michel Bourez.

This being the inaugural go at the Quik Fest and a bit of an experiment, there wasn't a webcast this year. However, in lieu of a live broadcast, Quik produced a very entertaining daily recap show called "Baguette TV", which you can watch in its entirety below.

It's loose, raw, and doesn't take itself seriously at all. But most of importantly, it's fun.

The WSL might want to take a few notes.
