Wheel of Fortune fans can now sigh in relief knowing Vanna White isn't going anywhere.

Deadline reports that after months of contract negotiations, the iconic letter-turner has officially extended her contract to two more years, continuing through the 2025-2026 season. White's contract was previously set to expire after the show's current season, which is scheduled to end in 2024.

Fans had previously expressed concern over the possibility of White's exit after Puck News reported in June that some executives at Sony had reportedly suggested eliminating her role. The execs allegedly believed that with a big star like Ryan Seacrest replacing Pat Sajak amid the longtime host's retirement, White wouldn't be necessary in bringing in viewers.

However, this proved to be an incorrect assessment. When the premiere date for the 41st season—which is Sajak's last—was announced in early September, fans rallied around White, asking for her to remain on the game show.

Days before Deadline confirmed the news of White's contract renewal, Seacrest expressed his desire for the co-host to remain on the show.

In an interview with Fortune magazine, the TV personality said, "I love Vanna White. I’ve known Vanna for a long time. We sat in important places next to each other. And I hope for nothing more than to be able to walk out on that stage and host with her."

White first joined Wheel of Fortune as one of three substitutes for former co-host Susan Stafford in 1982. By the end of the year, she was selected as the permanent replacement. Since then, she has become a fan favorite for regular viewers of Wheel of Fortune.
