On Vyshyvanka Day, Ukrposhta (Ukraine’s National Post) unveiled new stamps showcasing traditional embroidery patterns from Kharkiv Oblast and Crimea, the company's CEO, Ihor Smilyansky, reported on Telegram on May 16.

"A few years ago, Ukrposhta started a series featuring regional embroidery on stamps,” Smilyansky wrote. “Today, we're continuing this series with two very special stamps: one featuring embroidery from Kharkiv and the other showcasing Crimean Tatar embroidery."

The stamps are now available for purchase online and at Ukrposhta post offices, with a total print run of 800,000 units.

"We based these designs on traditional embroidery samples from the National Museum of Ukrainian Folk Decorative Art,” Smilyansky added. “Each detail adheres to the precise techniques of local artisans."
