Travis Kelce recently celebrated his birthday, and with the media frenzy he's been attached to as of late, the football star's day seemingly went a little differently than people may have assumed it would.
The Kansas City Chiefs tight end kept it very low-key on his 34th spin around the sun, linking up with some friends in a stadium parking lot—sans Taylor Swift.
Due to his newfound rumored romance with the "Bad Blood" singer and amid reports that Swift had flown out of New York City the day before, people presumed it was to be in Missouri with the two-time Super Bowl champ on his special day, but alas, it seems that was not so.
In photos snapped on Thursday, Oct. 5, the man of the hour was seen simply minding his business, hanging out with a couple of friends after popping into a convenience store for a quick purchase, as evidenced in the captures obtained by Page Six. The pro athlete appeared leisurely, donning sweats and sneakers.
Though a source said the two were "having fun" getting to know each other, they did also note the pair is keeping things super casual—for now, anyway—so until Travis or Taylor confirm the opposite is true, we'll have to take their word for it.
A newer source, however, claimed the duo are "completely smitten" and "talk everyday," adding that Taylor has "high hopes" and is, apparently, "jumping in with both feet," so we'll just have to see where this goes.
As for the next NFL game—which the "Cruel Summer" songstress has already attended two weeks in a row—we're keeping our eyes peeled for a possible pop star sighting.
