Trader Joe’s Is Bringing Back This ‘Best Ever’ Snack After 2 Years

Now, it’s bringing back a seasonal popcorn that took last year off, and fans are excited to finally have it back after two whole years without it.

TJ’s is going in a totally different direction with its Synergistically Seasoned Popcorn by throwing a whole bunch of various seasonings at popped corn to create something many fans think has a flavor greater than the sum of its parts.

Instagram’s trader_joes_treasure_hunt recently announced that after a break, the store is bringing back Synergistically Seasoned Popcorn, saying the snack is “dusted in a unique mix that’s tangy, salty, spicy, and sweet all at once.” According to the description on the front of the popcorn bag, it’s also smoky.

Among the popcorn’s ingredients, you’ll find sugar, white vinegar powder, sea salt, yeast extract cayenne pepper, garlic powder, rosemary extract, paprika extract, natural smoke flavor, and turmeric extract. That’s a lot of flavor. Somehow, they work together for many popcorn lovers.

“I eat a bag for dinner this is my literal favorite popcorn in the world,” one commenter said. Others added, “Best popcorn ever!!” and “Omg yay! My fave!”

But when will this sought-after popcorn return? Is “soon” a good enough answer? One person commented that they think it’s “sometime in May,” while another—saying they work at a Trader Joe’s in California—says the store keeps “pushing the day this year.”
