Tom Selleck's Hit Series 'Blue Bloods' Canceled

The long-running saga of the Reagan family, whose members are all a part of New York City’s law enforcement branches, will come to an end with the show’s 14^th season. The final season will be split into two parts: Ten episodes will air starting Feb. 16, and then the final eight episodes will run in the fall of 2024.

“For the past 13 years it has been an honor and a privilege to work on a show that not only celebrates the men and women who protect and serve in New York City, but also displayed the importance of family,” said series star Tom Selleck, who plays NYPD Commissioner Frank Reagan. “Working alongside these incredible actors, writers, producers, directors and crew has been a dream come true and I’m grateful to have been a part of this extraordinary group for over 275 episodes. Thank you to CBS Studios and CBS Network for their steadfast support and we offer heartfelt gratitude to the fans who gathered with us for dinner every Friday night.”

Blue Bloods premiered in September 2010 and has been the No. 1 show at 10 p.m. in CBS’ Friday lineup for a large part of its 275-episode run. It was the most watched primetime program of the night last season and the No. 3 most watched broadcast drama.

In addition to Selleck, the cast includes Donnie Wahlberg as Danny Reagan, Bridget Moynahan as Erin Reagan-Boyle, Will Estes as Jamie Reagan, Len Cariou as Henry Reagan, Marisa Ramirez as Maria Baez and Vanessa Ray as Eddie Janko.

Season 14 of Blue Bloods premieres at 10 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 16 on CBS.
