CBS Announces Post-Strike Return Dates for 'NCIS,' 'Blue Bloods,' 'Ghosts,' 'FBI' and More Faves

Now that the SAG-AFTRA strike is over and production can begin on the Fall 2023-2024 TV schedule, CBS has revealed its plans, which doesn’t actually include any new programming in Fall 2023, but rather is kicking off its schedule following Super Bowl on Sunday, Feb. 11 with the new series Tracker, which stars This is Us alum Justin Hartley.

The majority of the schedule remains as previously announced with a few exceptions. The Matlock reboot, starring Kathy Bates, and comedy Poppa’s House, starring Damon Wayans and Damon Wayans Jr., have been moved to the 2024-2025 TV season.

Another change is returning CSI: Vegas is now moving to Sunday nights but with the same 10 p.m. timeslot beginning Feb. 18.

As a result of the February launch dates, CBS will air a shortened season with most shows only filming 10 to 13 episodes, which will take viewers into May, when the season normally ends.
