As he continues to work his way through the fallout of "Scandoval," Vanderpump Rules star Tom Sandoval is feeling some type of way.

The reality star has found himself on the outside looking in when it comes to his former group of friends, with ex-fling Rachel "Raquel" Leviss and the rest of their friends distancing themselves after the scandal of their affair—in which he cheated on his girlfriend, Ariana Madix—made headlines.

Over a year later, the 41-year-old likened the consequences of his actions to those of Scott Peterson, who was infamously convicted of murdering his pregnant wife, Laci, in 2002, as he mourned the loss of his relationships.

Friend Tom Schwartz tried to comfort him on the most recent episode of Vanderpump Rules, telling him, “Tom, if it’s any consolation, I feel this in my heart and soul, I’m telling you, dude, you are at the tail end of this.”

But Sandoval clapped back that he wasn't "even remotely accurate," suggesting he's "being treated like...Scott Peterson and it will...linger with me, like...Scott Peterson.”

“You’re not Scott Peterson," Schwartz said. "Didn’t he murder his wife?”

“Allegedly,” he replied.

While Peterson was sentenced to death in 2005—later changed to life in prison without parole—the Los Angeles Innocence Project recently took on his case, which he hopes will result in an overturned conviction.

It's not the only bizarre comparison he's made to the backlash of his affair, suggesting to New York Times Magazine that the media attention surrounding O.J. Simpson and George Floyd were similar.

The comparisons certainly didn't help his case, with viewers taking to Twitter to express their shock over the statement:

Hopefully next time he'll come up with a more equivalent example, like Kris Jenner.
