Todd Chrisley Is 'Very Against' Meeting Savannah's New Boyfriend

Todd Chrisley isn't ready for a formal meeting with his daughter's new boyfriend—at least not yet.

His 26-year-old daughter Savannah Chrisley, who recently started dating Robert Shiver, revealed that while mom Julie Chrisley is up for meeting her new beau, her dad doesn't share the same enthusiasm.

"You know, Dad is very against it," Savannah told Entertainment Tonight in a new interview, where she recounted her dad telling her, "[Robert's] not gonna see me in this atmosphere and this environment."

As followers of the Chrisley Knows Best family already know, Todd, 54, is currently incarcerated in a federal prison following a conviction on bank fraud and tax evasion charges. His wife and Savannah's mom, Julie, 50, is serving time as well, though she is in a separate facility in Lexington, Ky., while Todd is behind bars in Pensacola, Fla.

"I feel like it's more a male pride type of thing," Savannah added of her father not wanting to meet her new boyfriend.

Meanwhile, the Unlocked podcast host said her mom is all for a face-to-face meetup. "I sent her pictures of us, obviously and she's heard all the stories, so she is like vicariously living through me," she said while confirming, "He definitely will meet Mom, for sure."

"Who knows about Dad, but like I said, hopefully things go in our favor and they'll be home sooner than later," Savannah added.

Todd and Julie were initially given 12 and 7 years behind bars, respectively, though their sentences were significantly shortened in September, with Todd's release slated for January 2033 and Julie's for October 2028.

In the meantime, the reality stars have still been trying to fight their conviction—and Savannah and other members of the family have spoken out about allegedly poor living conditions in both of Todd and Julie's prison facilities.
