Tips & techniques to protect pets from ticks

While they generally stay dormant during the winter, mild weather paved the way for an early return for a tiny threat to both you and your pets.

According to managers with the Quad City Animal Welfare Center, ticks are affecting a lot of animals coming in to the shelter. As Our Quad Cities News reporter Michael Frachella discovered, there are plenty of tips and techniques to protect your pets from ticks.
