Timothée Chalamet has starred in two big blockbuster hits for Warner Bros in the last few months, and the studio is cashing in on the success.

It has been revealed that Warner Bros has signed Chalamet to a multi-year feature film deal, which will see the Academy Award-nominated actor produce and star in future projects for the studio.

Warner Bros said that with the success of Wonka and Dune: Part Two, Chalamet became the first actor in four decades to lead two of the top two domestic films released across eight months.

The co-chairs and CEOs of Warner Bros., Mike De Luca and Pam Abdy, said, "Over the last few years, we have admired not only Timothée's commitment to his craft, which is evident in the range and depth of his varied roles, but also his unwavering dedication to give 100% of his time and attention to every project he has made here at Warner Bros. and elsewhere. His collaboration on the campaigns for Dune and Wonka is something we all enjoyed immensely, and the results speak for themselves. We continue to build for the future of the theatrical film business at Warner Bros. Discovery and are thrilled Timothée has chosen our studio to be his creative home."

Chalamet said, "Working with Mike De Luca, Pam Abdy and their teams on Wonka and Dune over these last few years has been a deeply rewarding experience. These are studio heads who believe in real movie making, and I'm so grateful for their support as an actor, producer and collaborator. This partnership feels like a natural next step. Let's go!"

The actor's first breakout role was in Luca Guadagnino's 2017 film Call Me By Your Name, which saw Chalamet get his first Oscar nomination. Since then, he has been involved in over a dozen feature films, including Greta Gerwig's debut film, Lady Bird, and her sophomore effort, Little Women.

Chalamet has established himself as one of the most exciting up-and-coming talents, solidifying his status in the industry through his thoughtful collaborations with renowned directors such as Gerwig, Guadagnino, Denis Villeneuve, Wes Anderson, and Adam McKay.

His next role is in James Mangold's Bob Dylan biopic, A Complete Unknown. Filming has already commenced, and Chalamet has been spotted on set this week, fully transformed into the legendary singer-songwriter.
