Why is this a good deal?

At-home retinol treatments in the same size as L'Oreal Revitalift (1 oz.) can set you back upwards of $60 a bottle; in-office retinol-intensive treatments can cost much more. The secret sauce is in the 0.3% pure retinol formula. According to the Cleveland Clinic, "retinol, a form of vitamin A... has anti-aging effects and can help clear acne." Hence, why you've seen it pop up on tons of skincare products in the last few years.

Don't be fooled by what seems like a low percentage of retinol in this serum, however. "Most people do not understand [the] percentages," explained Dr. Idriss. "They can be extremely misleading."
