Third Enola Holmes Film in the Works

Head of Netflix Film, Scott Stuber, let Collider know that Greta Gerwig's Narnia is high priority for 2024.

He also revealed that Enola Homes 3 is in the works, telling them that Millie Bobby Brown is "a homegrown star for us" and said, "...obviously, Stranger Things is huge for us in that, and watching her grow as an actress".

He continued by saying, "The Holmes IP is weirdly elastic. Obviously, Warner Bros. did an incredible job with Downey and Jude Law, so this idea that we can extend that IP with her is exciting. So, we're working once again on a screenplay to try to get that. But yes, aspiration. I'd like to do another one."

With Stuber revealing that the script is still in the works, there's nothing to share about the plot of Enola Holmes 3 just yet.

The first Enola Holmes film hit Netflix in 2020 and follows Sherlock Holmes' teen sister who discovers her mother is missing and endeavours to find her, becoming a super-sleuth in her own right as she outwits her famous brother and unravels a dangerous conspiracy.

Millie Bobby Brown starred in the titular role alongside Henry Cavill as Sherlock Holmes, with Sam Claflin, Helena Bonham Carter, Louis Partridge, Burn Gorman, Adeel Akhtar, Susan Wokoma, Hattie Morahan, David Bamber and Fiona Shaw also joining the cast.

Enola Homes 2 was released in 2022 and followed now detective-for-hire Enola Holmes taking on her first official case to find a missing girl as the sparks of a dangerous conspiracy ignite a mystery that requires the help of friends - and Sherlock himself - to unravel.

What's next for Enola? We'll have to wait and see.
