"I Think It's A Real Mountain Bike"- YouTuber Tests $400 Walmart Bike

In any internet forum after a bike is reviewed, the number one complaint is the price. It’s true, that bikes are incredibly expensive. The sticker shock is real, even for seasoned veterans gaslit into allocating thousands of dollars a year to their hobby.

One brand is staking out to make a high-quality entry-level bike, and it is coming from an unlikely source: Walmart.

See YouTuber Berm Peak Review the Ozark Trail Ridge, a surprisingly valuable bike for under $400 dollars.

In this video, Seth from Berm Peak buys and rides a $400 dollar mountain bike, and is incredibly impressed with what it offers.

Not only does it come ready with serviceable parts that can be run by a beginner rider, but the bike is very upgradeable, allowing for a dropper post routed internally and a higher quality fork with a tapered steerer.

It seems like the days of Walmart being only the cheap brand are over. As we have seen in the cooler market when Ozark Trail made options close to as good as the Yeti Coolers for far less money, their bikes are filling a similar niche. Though this bike will not be a world beater, it is incredible value for the price, and sensible enough to be upgradeable.
