The Breakdown: MakeupByMario's Summer Contour
There is no doubt you’ve seen Mario Dedivanovic’s work on the red carpet and in your Instagram feed — you know him as MakeupByMario. He’s the go-to makeup artist of Kim Kardashian, Ashley Tisdale, and Chanel Iman and he has perfected the art of contouring. Here, in our newest Breakdown video, Dedivanovic shows us how to get the perfect summer glow and contour.
1. Prep skin with moisturizer and foundation.
2. Set foundation with a loose translucent powder.
3. Apply a matte bronzer to contour features.
4. Highlight cheekbones and the bridge of the nose.
5. Add volume to lips by highlight the cupid’s bow.
6. Use highlighter on the inner corner of eyes and on brow bone.
7. Apply a matte bronzer to the crease of the eyelids.
8. Create a smokey look by lining the lower lash line with matte bronzer.
9. Apply a peach blush to apples of the cheeks.
10. Use a lip balm to moisturize lips before applying lip color.
11. Apply a sheer peach gloss and pat with fingertips.
