Teenager Kai Jones Dubs Straight Line As The 'Craziest Line' Of His Life

Kai Jones: 16. Already in 5 TGR Films. Won the North American Junior Freeride series when he was 11 years old.

The craziest line of his life? We're all ears.

Kai shared his POV footage to promote the "GoPro Line of the Winter" contest. He included the caption: "hands down, the craziest line of my life."

No one is doubting the line is insane, but I wouldn't put it past Kai to do something even wilder by the end of this season.

Actually, the craziest part is what Kai has already gone through to get to where he is. Jones broke both of his legs and came back from it. There are pro athletes who can't even do that.

Watch Kai's 22/23 season, as recapped by Teton Gravity Research, below.

As a skier who gets stoked from other people's creativity and boundary pushing, I'm inspired by not just Kai's entry, but the entire contest GoPro is putting on.

Other entries have included a drool-worthy powder run through the trees from Mike Hayes, below.

No matter who comes out on top, it's rad to see everyone's "best" line. We all froth on different stuff, and that's what makes skiing so cool.

Watch a couple of the entries in GoPro's Line of the Winter contest video below.

Will Kai be the overall winner for the ski category, skiing the best line of the winter? It's not out of the picture, or, uh, frame.

When Jackson Hole is your playground, the possibilities are endless.
