While there are some contradictions in his chart, the remainder of positive influence will likely carry him past the finish line," explains Murphy.
It's also worth noting that both of Mahomes' previous victories in 2020 and 2023 had a Leo rising in the event chart, which is also the case for this year's game. Mars, Venus, and Pluto are all in opposition to the ascendant of the Super Bowl chart, showing the ability to turn one's weaknesses into strengths. During this year's Super Bowl, the Chiefs will be the home team, and the 49ers will be the away team. Because this game has a Leo rising chart, it places the home team at an advantage. Not only that, the Chiefs are also the defending Super Bowl champions, meaning the stars are aligned to give them the edge.
While Brock Purdy's birth chart highlights his natural talent and athleticism, the transiting sun on his Mars in Aquarius shows he could burn out or become overwhelmed by the game's pace. It doesn't necessarily have to reflect he is playing poorly but rather that there is a general sense of not seeing with clear vision, possibly of missing the mark a few times," Murphy predicts.
Transiting Jupiter will form a strong conjunction with Purdy's Saturn placement, indicating a delay in success and gratification. While this transit is excellent for injecting enthusiasm and inspiration into a moment, it can also highlight the weaknesses in someone's strategic approach. This transit suggests that while Brock Purdy and the 49ers won't win this year's Super Bowl, this game will be a career-defining moment for him. And the lessons he learns during this game will help shape and inform the legacy he's looking to build for himself.

Murphy explains this would be an ideal transit for Usher to make a speech or announcement, possibly regarding his retirement from music in favor of a new chapter in life. There is an underlying fear of rejection due to the opposition to Lilith; however, he'll move toward releasing and making peace with the past. "This is a very powerful night for Usher. I think he will use the intensity of his transits to walk us through the years of his legacy, though the performance and set will likely be very ethereal, aesthetically pleasing, almost like we’re watching a movie of everything that has led to this moment in his career," Murphy muses.
Travis Kelce Could Have a Sweet Moment With Taylor Swift After the Game
Everyone has their eyes on Travis Kelce for more reasons than one. Not only is he one of the stars of the Chiefs' winning lineup, but his relationship with Taylor Swift has had everyone talking!
