Travis Kelce #87 of the Kansas City Chiefs looks on before kickoff against the Chicago Bears at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium on Sept. 24, 2023, in Kansas City, Mo.

As Chiefs and Taylor Swift fans eagerly watched the Kansas City team dominate their way through the NFL playoff games, they were all on the edge of their seats as they crept closer and closer to winning the AFC championship and taking on the Super Bowl for the second consecutive year.
As the postseason unfolded, we were all desperate to know: Will Travis Kelce play in the 2024 Super Bowl?

The short answer is: Yes!

Multiple outlets predicted that the Ravens would beat the Chiefs during their Sunday, Jan. 28 playoff at M&T Bank Stadium, but fans didn't let that concern them too much, because the Bills were predicted to beat the Chiefs on Jan. 21—and the Chiefs won instead.

We don't know just yet who Kelce and the Chiefs will take on this year, as the final playoff game, between the Detroit Lions and the San Francisco 49ers, takes place later the same day.

The winner of that game will go on to play the Chiefs at Super Bowl LVIII on Sunday, Feb. 11.

Another question on fans' minds is whether Kelce's girlfriend, Taylor Swift, will attend the Super Bowl. Although it's technically possible, the pop superstar will have resumed her Eras Tour shows at that point, which may complicate things.

On Feb. 7-10, Swift will play shows in Tokyo, Japan. She could leave immediately after the Feb. 10 concert for a 13-hour flight back to the U.S. in order to make it to Las Vegas in time for the Super Bowl's kickoff at 6:30 p.m ET. (The 17-hour time difference is certainly in her favor, too.)

Still, we wouldn't blame the "Cruel Summer" singer for opting out of that tight timeline!

The 2024 Super Bowl will take place on Sunday, Feb. 11, at 6:30 p.m. ET. Pre-game programming, including musical performances, will start at 6 p.m. ET.
