You know what they say about rumors: they're terrible and cruel most of them are true!

After the world watched on with bated breath to see if Taylor Swift would really show up to another Kansas City Chiefs game, she made all of our wildest dreams a reality.

The superstar was spotted at Metlife Stadium as the Chiefs took on the New York Jets on Sunday, Oct. 1, not too far off from where she lives when she's staying in New York.

She was joined by celebrity pals Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds, and casually dressed in a black long-sleeve shirt and jean shorts. Heading into the Sunday night game, it was reported that Swift would also be joined at the game by Hugh Jackman, who is close friends with Reynolds. He was later seen arriving with Swift, Lively and Reynolds.

Queer Eye's Antoni Porowski and Deadpool 3 director Shawn Levy were also seen mingling with Swift and company in a star-studded VIP box.

Swift's presence at the Chiefs vs. Jets game wasn't necessarily a surprise, especially after she stepped out for a Girls' Night with Brittany Mahomes, wife of Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, on Saturday, Sept. 30.

As for how the Swift-Kelce romance began? Well, Kelce made the first move—or at least admitted to doing so—back in July when he put his phone number on a friendship bracelet and tried to get it to the superstar during one of her Eras Tour stops.

By early September, reports suggested he'd eventually gotten his contact information into Swift's hands, with a source alleging that the two had begun "quietly hanging out."

Later the same month, a source close to the "Karma" singer said that Swift was "in her fun girl era, and strictly having fun right now" as she and Kelce remained casual, "seeing where things go," but days later she made an appearance at a Chiefs game at Kansas City's Arrowhead Stadium, decked out in the team's gear as she cheered Kelce on from a suite alongside his mother and other friends.

The two were spotted leaving the stadium hand in hand, and photos later surfaced of them looking rather cozy at an afterparty that same night. While the pair have yet to outright confirm their relationship, Kelce had nothing but good things to say after their weekend together.

"Shout out to Taylor for pulling up. That was pretty ballsy," he said on a recent episode of his podcast. "I just thought it was awesome how everyone in the suite had nothing but great things to say about her. The friends and family. She looked amazing, everybody was talking about her in a great light. On top of that, the day went perfect for Chiefs fans, of course."

They won that game against the Chicago Bears 41-10.
