'Disappointed' Travis Kelce Details Failed Attempt to Give Taylor Swift His Number

Now that Taylor Swift's in her single era, Kansas City Chiefs' Travis Kelce wanted to try his luck at having a "Love Story" with the singer.

On his podcast New Heights with Jason and Travis Kelce, the tight end shared that he attended an Eras Tour show with hopes of meeting Swift.

"I was disappointed that she doesn't talk before or after her shows because she has to save her voice for the 44 songs that she sings [every night on tour]," he admitted.

The 33-year-old NFL player added, "I was a little butthurt that I didn't get to hand her one of the bracelets I made for her."

His brother Jason inquired about the bracelets, and Kelce explained that he received "a bunch" of friendship bracelets from fans, but he wanted to give the pop star an extra special one with his number on it. When Jason asked him to clarify whether he meant his jersey number 87 or his phone number, Kelce responded with a smirk, "You know which one."

Kelce accepted the defeat in his attempted conquest, saying, "She doesn't meet anybody or at least she didn't wanna meet me, so I took it personal."

Jason pointed out that as a die-hard Eagles fan, Swift, 33, "probably just hasn't gotten over the Super Bowl yet," referencing the Chiefs' 2023 win against the Philadelphia team.

There's still hope for Kelce. After all, Swift's "long list of ex-lovers" doesn't include an athlete…yet. However, Eagles fans are not to be messed with, so maybe she just wants to avoid some "Bad Blood."
