Taylor Swift Finally Adds Selena Gomez & Cara Delevingne as a Bad-Ass Babes for 'Bad Blood'

It may be time to say so long to the singer Swifties once knew because it seems like the pop star has taken a trip to the dark side. To announce her upcoming music video for “Bad Blood,” Taylor Swift released a film-noir-inspired poster that makes her look like a long lost cast member of Sin City. Even more, she tweeted: “Meet Catastrophe.” (Uh…Nice to meet you?) And Swift’s continued to take to social media to reveal the much-anticipated roster of the bad-ass band babes she’s enlisted.

The 25-year-old first revealed her vampy image, which was replete with faux blood splatters and a I-mean-business tagline—“Band aids don’t fix bullet holes.” (BOOM!) Swift, who is apparently calling herself “Catastrophe” now, does her best to look badass in a leather jacket with scarlet lips, dramatic cat eyes, and an extreme side part. (…Which explains why Cara Delevingne and Zendaya were spotted with Swift in Los Angeles sporting this very look in April.) But apparently that wasn’t the real catastrophe. After a slow (but true) roll out of her fellow “Bad Blood” members, Swift reveal her true catastrophic self—with big, curly hair, smokey eyes, knuckle gloves (be scared!), and a cut-out top showing off her cleavage and midriff.

But guess no more! Selena Gomez as “Arsyn,” Cara Delevingne as “Mother Chucker,” Mariska Hargitay as “Justice,” Ellen Pompeo as “Luna,” Model Martha Hunt as “Homeslice” (LOL), Jessica Alba (the OG Sin City girl) as “Domino,” Empire’s Serayah McNeill as “Dilemma,” Karlie Kloss as “Knockout,” Zendaya as “Cut-Throat,” Lily Aldridge as “Frostbyte,” Gigi Hadid as “Slay-Z” (Jay-Z’s long lost twin?), Hailee Steinfeld as “The Trinity,” Lena Dunham as “Lucky Fiori,” Ellie Goulding as “Destructa X,” and Paramore’s Hayley Williams as “The Crimson Curse” have officially joined Swift as “Catastrophe.” Even more, Kendrick Lamar as “Welvin Da Great” is the first male thus far to join Swift’s female-strong rat pack. And if you thought band-aids could fix bullet holes now, the nine posters (we’re still waiting on Cara Delevingne’s and perhaps some others?) are friendly reminders that such is still not the case.

The video—scheduled for release on May 17 at the 2015 Billboard Music—was directed by Joseph Kahn, the force behind Swift’s “Blank Space” and Britney Spears’s epic “Toxic” video. (Who could forget that snake!?)

Truth be told, it was just a matter of time before Swift let us in on this lesser-known part of her personality. Almost all accomplished songstresses have alter-egos. She’s simply joining the ranks of Beyoncé as Sasha Fierce, Miley Cyrus as Hannah Montana, Mariah Carey as Mimi, Shakira as She Wolf, and Nicki Minaj as Roman Zolanski.

Let’s see what T. Swift as “Catastrophe” along with her mega-militia have to offer. Here’s to hoping that this plot doesn’t mimic the moniker!
